The final book in the Simon Snow trilogy, Any Way the Wind Blows, will arrive on July 6. Carry On is a ghost story, a love story and a mystery. Pre-orders are available now, and the book will be released on June 8. Words are very powerful, Miss Possibelf said during our first Magic Words lesson. The magic within Rowell’s novel is cleverly taken not from Latin or some made up language as most magical works of fiction use, but in fact from every day terms, which is explained within the book. Now, for book collectors who appreciate matching sets, a hardcover edition of Carry On featuring Kevin Wada’s original artwork from the paperback copy is finally available! This special edition includes an exclusive case stamp and new illustrated endpapers. That being said, Carry On is its own story. Wada then went on to create beautiful matching covers for the various hardcover editions of Wayward Son and the forthcoming finale Any Way the Wind Blows. Meanwhile, the paperback cover featured detailed artwork of Simon and Baz illustrated by Kevin Wada. The original hardcover edition of Carry On had a bold-colored silhouette of Simon, Baz, and Watford on the front cover. And of course there’s Baz, Simon’s vampire roommate who he may not actually despise as much as he’s led himself to believe. Add in an absent mentor, a fizzled-out relationship with his now ex-girlfriend, and a magic-eating monster that happens to look just like Simon and … well … nobody said life at the Watford School of Magicks was simple. Simon is the Chosen One, but his struggle to perform even the most basic of spells certainly says otherwise. Simon Snow fans … ready your bookshelves, because something wonderful is coming.īack in 2015, author Rainbow Rowell introduced the world to Simon Snow with Carry On, a story full of magic, adventure, humor, and romance.
